Game
By AS

Clip to ScrapBook
I have played this game and depending on the group dynamics, it can work well. EVeryone in the class writes down a word on a small piece of paper. Collect all the words and put them in a hat or something. Pick one
student to come up to the front of the room and have this child pick a word out of the hat. Make sure he/she does not see the word and tape it to the child's forehead so the rest of the class can see it. Now, the child must ask the class questions to try and figure out what the word is.
I have had classes where someone always yells out what the word is so its no fun at all. However,
I had classes where they get really into it.
Another fun idea is to have a bunch of adjectives (made by teacher)ready. Have 1 or 2 students go in the hall. Tell the rest of the class the adjective. For example, "shy". Without talking, the whole class walks around and acts shy. The students from the hall must guess the adjective by looking at how studentsa re acting.
My biggest problem has been playing any sort of game where someone gets "out". I like activities where the entire class is included. I love all the great ideas that have been shared so far!
