Spanking

Although Texas still allows spanking, very few schools actually do it. I don't know of any in my area that spank. Overall, I think spanking is not the way to deal with problems, and I do not spank my son. However, I have a couple of students that have been spanked all of their life by their parents, and the only thing that gets through to them is spanking. The only way I can get these two to behave is to threaten to call home. Marks, recess taken away, and other loss of priviledges means nothing to them. I guess it's because that's what they are used to at home.
