You know, that's really interesting...back in the "Good Old Days" children were spanked quite often, and the "level of violence" was a lot lower than it is now....

You may want to re-examine your logic. Perhaps it is "wrong" to lock inmates up in prison...I'm sure they're very ashamed after that.

And you know what, when protestors are rioting in a city, and lighting fire to things...it's not ok for the police to physically stop them. After all, two wrongs don't make a right!

I suspect if a lot of the nut-balls we have running around today had been punished when they were children, well, we wouldn't have so many nut-balls. But, careful, you don't want to hurt their self-confidence...
