The first thing to do is to buy a large mesh laundry bag. I don't know how much equipment you have but all of mine fits in this sort of bag. Make a list of everything that should be in the bag. Laminate it and attach it to the bag (punch a hole in the corner and tie it to the bag with string). Also attach a dry erase marker. If you take something out of the bag, you sign your name next to the item. At the end of recess you return the item and erase your name. The monitor then quickly checks the inventory to make sure all items were returned.
