Quilt activity
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
In my first semester of education courses I read two wonderful books on quilts: one is called "The Quiltmaker's Gift" by Jeff Brumbeau. The other is "Classroom Quilts for Every Occasion." This book shows step by step how to make every kind of quilt imaginable. I loved it so much I made up a version of my own called "Let's Make a Friendship Quilt" which was based on the author's ideas, and I am planning to use at as a "Getting to Know You" activity for the first days of school. I don't remember the author's name offhand but would be happy to look it up if you're interested. Good luck on your project!!
