If you can get your hands on a Marillyn Burns K-8 book, there is an activity on palindromes. It is excellent. We did this with our top two leveled 5th graders last year and it challenged and entertained them. The lesson is written out beautifully and it takes few materials. Kids were paired for our activity. They had numbers all over the boards, paper, everywhere. Give it a try!
