Cheer up

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Emmy! I was an assistant teacher for three years in second grade before I finished my degree. I thought there was no place better, until I moved to third. I am certified now and teach third grade. Words cannot express how wonderful the change has been. The children are still "babies", but they can do so much more. You literally have no limits as to what you can introduce to them. They are still at the age where they are not afraid to try. We just finished learning the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. I have third graders in my room that have a better understanding of the poem now than I did in college. They are so eager to express and share. You will LOVE it, and they will love you.
