Attention, please
By dd

Clip to ScrapBook
Something that you may want to try for attention. This always works faster for me than "you and you, listen". I ask the class for their attention (whatever manner depending on the age), and then I thank individuals who are quiet and listening. "Thankyou Miranda. Thankyou Chris. Thankyou Johnny. Thankyou Sarah. ..." By the time you get to the 6th child, they are usually all listening, because they want to be the next one thanked.

Good luck.
