Journals
By Sandra R

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi
I am also a 3rd year teacher.
With journals we write in them 2/3 times a week and have a different focus per week. e.g focusing on joing words (and then, and then!! It drives me crazy), or capital letters where the chn use a coloured pencil to write capitals. This then assists in meeting the curriculum requirements for teaching grammar.
At the beginning of the year I also supplied them with ideas for writing or beginning sentences.
Have fun teaching!
