I looped from first to second grade for the first time this year. I had a baby at the end of May and wasn't able to do much planning over the summer so I really fell back into my regular routines. It turned out to be the best thing I could do! The kids do not get bored--it seems to be very comforting for them. My only concern is that, next year, they will be in for completely different routines and classroom expectations. I hope the transition is not too difficult for them. I'll let you know!
