a teacher's pay

Where I live, I don't feel that my pay is all that bad. I don't make all that much money ($37,000), but my cost of living isn't very high since I don't live in a tourist or high income area. My husband is a teacher making $45,000 per year, so we are living comfortably.I think the income and cost of living should be taken into consideration. Some teachers are making way more than I am in other parts of the country, but their cost of living is way more.
