Here's what I meant
By So True

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to start a big war. I probably should have specified two things: (1) I AM a first-year teacher, and (2) I did not mean to imply that ALL new teachers are holier-than-thou or that ALL experienced
teachers were busybodies. I am sorry that I came across that way. My point was that I don't like new teachers who come in all know-it-all and judgmental of the experienced teachers and then give the rest of us more humble new teachers a bad name. I have heard horror stories about new teachers coming in and bad-mouthing the experienced teachers, which really irritated the new teachers.
Anyway, my point was just to say that any of us, old or new, who spend time judging others and calling them "unprofessional" are wasting energy that could be used elsewhere. Again, I am sorry to offend members of a group that I am actually part of. I just wanted to emphasize that we shouldn't be judging fellow teachers.
