Phonics in third
By Kathy

Clip to ScrapBook
Phonics is a tool so if a student is a good reader they really don't need it much. When I taught third grade we did use Modern Curriculum Press which taught the children to divide words into syllables and dictionary skills which was a helpful skill even for the good readers. A lot of the other work in there was mostly busy work for the independent readers.
