many thanks and one last question

Thank you all for your advice and encouragement. I know it will be fine, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything (like grades-- I was thinking about records and background info, but report cards hadn't occurred to me yet!). I don't have any records yet, and we're going on his parents' word that he's an "average student." He has not been assessed, and was placed in my room completely because I had the lowest numbers. One other question: My class was assigned a long term project last Monday, which will be due in mid-May. How should I handle this assignment with my new student? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Carolina

PS- Joy, I 'd love to see a copy of your ABC list!
