Clip to ScrapBook
Since the issue ws brought up concerning what would happend if we let teachers pick the content, I'd like to respond. We would live in a much better world. One where children would be treated as individuals and one where autonomy ruled instead of heteronomy.

As for the cursive things, I think its fine for it to be taught, but after they have learned it I think it's fine for children to decide if they would rather print or write cursively. I have a brother who never learned cursive (had an awful teacher) but despite that, he is extremely successful and as never been in a life situation where he was faced with having to read or write cursive.
