Hi Lynne. I live in Gwinnett County which is next-door to Forsyth. The Cobb County schools have a good reputation, but it is very populated over there. You may not like all the traffic which the metro area is notorious. Gwinnett is the same way. Forsyth is getting that way as people are moving up Hwy 400 from Atlanta, but there are some nice, rural areas to live. You could even live in the mountains near Dahlonega and easily get to Forsyth. You may be interested in Cherokee Co. that is in-between Forsyth and Cobb. Check out Paulding Co., too, which is on the other side of Cobb. Hope this is helpful.
