Ladybug, on the first Friday of May we have a May Crowning before Mass with all of our students, K-3. We process in with a flower, either real or artificial, and lay it before the statue of Mary. We sing "Immaculate Mary" and then process to our seats. After that we stand or kneel and the class that has the mass for the week leads a decade of the rosary. After the homily then the third grade crowns Mary while we sing "Hail Holy Queen". It's a nice mass and the older people really enjoy it. We have also formed a living rosary after the procession in and said the whole rosary, each student leading, sometimes a lector leading, depends on how much time you have.

You really have your hands full! I teach second grade and we had First Communion Apr. 7! Whew! I'm glad we're done! Good luck, if you need more help just email me!
