Suggested modifications

Just came across this list. Thought you might be able select a few for your "laundry list" of modifications. I've seen other lists of this nature and will post again if I find more.

1. Subject matter: read/paraphrased

Visual demonstrations
3. Instructions given in several channels: written, spoken, demonstrations
4. Utilization of supplemental aids: vocabulary, mult. cards, etc.
5. Utilization of visual or multisensory materials
6. Mnemonic aids/review instruction of mnemonic devices
7. Overhead/outline for desk use
8. Small group
9. Functional level materials

Emphasis on success experiences
11. Taped texts
12. Highlighted texts
13. Taped lectures
14. Notetaking assistance
15. Extended time for assignment completion
16. More time for reading assignments
17. More time for mastery of points recall
18. Shortened assignments
19. Assignment notebooks
20. Study sheets/summary sheets/outline of most important facts
21. Time for repeated review/drill
22. Repeatedly draw facts to point of mastery
23. Use of content mastery program
24. Learn to test/retest self

26. Reduction of pencil/paper tasks
27. Manipulation of material in small steps
28. One/one for at least 10-20 minutes daily
29. Classwork graded on what is completed only
