Biographies - students dress up and report on the life of the person they read about. They are recorded and after all students ahve presented, we watch the tape.Two Thumbs - I have a pair of students on equal reading levels choose a book. They must do a book review must like the Siskel/Ebert thing. at the end of the review, they give the book either thumbs up or thumbs down.
