    Posting of degree

I can't believe it takes your school 6 weeks to post your degree! My school posted mine the day before graduation.

I think that you made the right decision in applying now. So many school districts look at intern apps on a date-stamped basis. If you wait six weeks, you'll be at the bottom of the list. And they probably won't even look at your app until June or later, anyway. As long as you can prove that you are registered at Azusa, you should be okay... districts can't hire you unless you are enrolled in a credential programs.

Just hang in there until you get hired. I know how difficult it is to wait until the late summer to get hired, but you'll make it. I just tried not to think about it too much. If you aren't already subbing for school districts, then you might want to start now. Districts often hire from sub pools, and it's a great way to get to know principals and office staff.

One more thing to remember... the first year is always tough, whether or not you are enrolled in school. I wanted to quit every day my first year, even though I was told I was doing a good job. I love my job now more every day. California does a lousy job of preparing undergrads for teaching, and a lot of teachers leave the first year because they weren't prepared for it. So, no matter what happens to you your first year, remember that it's probably just first year blues. And really ask your colleagues for help and support.

Good luck! This is a great profession, and I know you are going to love it, since you seem to be so passionate about it.
