I don't know much about the four day week, but it sounds interesting and so great! Sometimes I wish we had Wednesdays off because then you'd only work 2 days in a row, but I know that would really break the flow of the week with the students. I think that you would have to give weekend homework, sort of designing it like Fridays are "home study" days for students. They're not in school, but they still need to learn. Then, you could have them try to teach themselves a math concept, and maybe they could try to teach each other for 5 minutes on Monday. Most likely, if the kids DO the assignment, they will be ready to move on to the next concept, or will only take a small explanation from you rather than a whole lesson. Just a thought. If you don't mind me asking, where do you teach (what state?). I am just curious!
