Cruisin' to the end!
By Elaine

Clip to ScrapBook
Marie,

I understand your thinking when you say you don't want to reward your students inappropriate behavior, but going outdoors to do science activities sounds like it could be a powerful motivator to pull these kids back on track.

Think of it this way. Two more loooooooooooong months and 8 horrendous days of putting up with the kind of "stuff" you're getting right now, OR the possiblility of having 2 terrific months and 8 blessed days that just flew by because you are doing something innovative and exciting that just might motivate your students to actually learn!

Then again . . . it's been an incredibly long day that ended in an even longer faculty meeting, so . . . what do I know?

Elaine
