Pedro's Journal - a journal kept by Pedro, who travels with Columbus to the New World.

Where do You Think You're Going, Christopher Columbus? Good info about Columbus.

Combine all three of these books in a study of the "discovery" of the New World.

Sign of the Beaver - about a white boy who must learn to survive in Maine. He is befriended by members of the Beaver tribe.

Jean Fritz, who wrote the Where do You... has written a number of books on American history. Very well done.
