I have a very old book at school called THE MAGIC FRIENDMAKER. That is on my first graders level. I cannot remember the author.
Another favorite of mine and of my students is a book called FINDING THE GREEN STONE by Walker.
It is more about being a caring person but I use it in my friendship unit. I also give each student a "green stone" (usually the little plastic disks you get to put in vases or waterfalls..they come in green too) to help them remember to keep their green stone.
