Sometimes I think it is our nature...we are passionate about what we do and, unfortunately, we often feel a need to defend ourselves to parents, administrators, and those who question our jobs. When we become critical and defensive, it is disheartening, but when we can keep the debates positive, friendly, and open-ended, then we encourage a healthy discussion.
