On days like this, after reading posts like the ones above, I want to tell you to run the other way as fast as possible. I have found myself thinking on many days that working in an environment dominated by females is driving me crazy (and I am a woman!). It is the back and forth, nitpicking, infighting stuff that is driving me bonkers!!! You would think with all the flak teachers get from the "outside world" that thinks our jobs are meaningless that we would always pull together to support one another. Instead, we pull each other down at every opportunity because we are a "better" teacher than the woman next door.
