Mother's Day ideas

I teach first grade and my class makes flower pens for their mothers. I use papermate brand pens because the end is easier to pop out. The children pick out two or three silk flowers and I hot glue the flower into the end of the pen after I've popped the end part out. The children then use floral tape to wrap around each pen. Each child usually makes two or three pens. They make a card for mom and we tie the "bouquet" together for them to give their moms. I hope this helps!
