...to teach cursive: Our lives depend on it! Did you know that MANY doctors are required to go back to school to learn how to write cursive? No kidding! This has become a very serious problem--a matter of life or death for those depending on the pharmacist being able to read (decipher) their prescription. I showed my 6th graders a news report about this when they complained about having to write in cursive...quite scary!
