Dear DeThanks for your thoughtful response to my question! I would like to know the name of the book you referred to by Donald Graves. I am currently readinng two of Ralph Fletcher's books on Writer's Workshop and have read
Fountas and Pinell and Taberski on Guiding Readers and Writers. Any other suggestions for writing as you offered, would be great! How do you get to Writer's Workshop and Reading each day or do you devote a week or two to one or the other? I am thinking of doing Writer's Workshop on Mondays with an intro and mini-lesson and reconvening on Friday- the kids would be writing while I meet
with Guided Reading groups the other days. Does this sound feasible or do you forsee pitfalls? I just can't figure out how to get it all in even though I really want to! Thanks for any resources and advice! Thanks!!!!
