Orientation Night

Our school does one night with the parents only and during the next day we have the parents and the children come. And instead of having the children free throughtout the classroom we had a little project for the children| and the parent to complete together. During this time Me and my assistant took pictures of them with their parents. We had them developed by the first day of class and had them hanging with their art project so that if they started to miss their parents they could go over and look at their picture with them. It really was just fun for them to see themselves in a picture with their mom | |
and dad. The project we did was a self potrait and bio sheet to share with the class. The self potrait was a small paper plate and some collage materials. They all really seemed to enjoy it. Good luck
