Carolyn,We are in central Missouri -- Warrensburg to be exact. We already have penpals in California lined up for next year. We started together this year, and so far we can barely get past what's your favorite hobby?, | sport?, music group?, etc. I really want more than that so, if we could come up with some specific ideas, tied to literature, social studies, etc., I'd love to have my students communicate with your students. Don't forget, I'll have 4th graders again next year. We could make some contacts to get started with your students in 2002-03, and then continue with your new students in 2003-04. | |
What do you think? Elaine P.S. BTW -- I've tried epals, but it seems we just don't have enough time in the computer lab to keep up with that type of connection.
