I have a similar situation. I expect to be starting an internship program, where Im going to school to get my teaching credential while I'm actually a regular school teacher getting full pay. To get into the program, I need
to get a teaching job first... we also have a job fair in May. I talked to my school counselor about this, and was told not to worry - that the school districts will try to interview to hire as many qualified Credentialed teachers FIRST, but will almost always take interns. My counselor says that school districts will sometimes wait well into the summer before they decide to hire an
intern teacher- they want to contract as many credentialed teacher's first, but most districts will end up hiring an intern teacher because they cannot find anything else. So unfortunately we will have to wait and see
