I hear ya!

I am just finishing up the student teaching from "h---"! I am also 49 years old. The paper works is unbelievable. There has got to be a better way. The aide in our room is also good but is the eyes and ears for my coop teach when she's not there. Perhaps the whole country should get together and hire secretaries for each school -- JUST TO DO SPECIAL ED!!!! Okay so I like to dream. I have a job for September in a nice district so I'm hoping it's better than the urban high school I'm in right now. The kids are great -- tough and tiring -- but great. The system doesn't work.
