Think posisitve! At least you are aware that your lack of assertiveness is part of the problem and you are willing to work on it. Awareness is half the battle!

I work as a district mentor in a large urban school district. Teachers who are aware of their skills that need growth and are willing to work on them usually succeed. Those who blame everyone and everything else have a very difficulut time and either end up resigning or are not rehired!
