growing vegetable soup
By JC

Clip to ScrapBook
The preK teacher next to me just completed 2 activities to go with this book. The first is a short book (wait no, we are doing that..yikes my mind). The cover is a big red circle with the vegetables cut and pasted on so
it looks like soup..and the back is just a red circle..then using longer white construction paper (I think cut length wise) do an accordian fold..makes 4 spaces..then staple it to the front cover, and staple the other end to the red circle and have the kids write the sequence of how to make the soup and illustrate each page..looks neat
The preK teacher did this..Its and art project..she
made the kids cut out a black bowl, and vegetables (all were traced onto construction paper). They glued the veggies to the black bowl (very simple) then with a white crayon they wrote vegetable soup..looks neat, and she has them hanging..just some ideas
