Turtle Cookies! By Julie

Here's one I've done with my students! Also, if you have or can borrow one of the newer ice cream makers - they are great for use in the classroom.

Turtle Cookies

1/2 c. butter
1 square baking chocolate
(Melt them together)
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 c. flour

Drop by spoonfuls on a WAFFLE MAKER and close the lid until they are done!
ICING
6 T. butter
6 T. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
Bring to boil then add 1/2 c. chocolate chips and melt! Drizzle on the cookies.
