Teaching your own child.

My youngest son did not have me teaching him but I was a teacher in the same school for 4 years. In high school his dad was there for 2 of his 5 years. In both times he was at the school before we were posted there. I felt that was enough to deal with. I would have changed grades rather that teach him. He was a pretty good student but even still. We did do correspondence classes for a year while we travelled and I found I didn't have the same patience. I think they should have someone else. But everyone is different. I just think I would have been harder on my own child.
