parent support as teachers
By Shelley

Clip to ScrapBook
Maybe as "teacher parents" we know how "bad" kids can affect a whole class atmosphere and give needed back-up and support to the teacher. The problem are those bullies and "bad" kids whose parents think they are "angels" (for example, I teach a boy who lies to me about his actions and his mother ALWAYS takes his side, which stunts his respect for his teachers) or who think it's the teacher's problem to handle him.

Being a teacher makes us empathetic to other teachers, in particular in the area of our own children!
