Teacher's brats

I have a sort of reverse version. I've had several parents tell me that they were happy to see that my "angel" was less than perfect, and that I freely acknowledge that he is, because they are tired of certain teachers holding their "perfect" child above all others. I teach those teachers' children, and believe me they are the meanest little devils when Mommy isn't around.
I don't think we do our children or our students any favours by keeping the blinders on and denying the truth of the matter. I am so glad to hear that I'm not alone either.
