let me rephrase it, I know public school teachers in my area and they are paid during the summer. In fact, some have a choice to take it in one lump sum or every 2 weeks like the school year.I am not asking whether a teacher gets paid for doing nothing, but if the salary is spread out over 12 months or 10.
