It worked for me! I was a mother and a grandmother when I decided to go to college. I, like John, am now in my 7th year of teaching. I am presently the grandmother of 9 1/4 grandchildren with my very first great-grandchild on the way, too!!!!!!!! I don't regret my decision to go for my degree. I love teaching and adore my students. My grandchildren are proud to have a grandmother who is a teacher. Just go for it!!!!! Keep us posted. We'll be cheering for you! Elaine
