Telling Time
By Melissa

Clip to ScrapBook
I am a first year teacher, and was very overwhelmed when I realized that my kids could not tell time in the third grade. I immediately bought a clock for the room, and once I taught them the rules of telling time, I made a habit of calling on someone every ten minutes to give me the time. The kids thought it was hysterical that I kept stopping my lesson to ask the time, but it got them to practice. Now, all of the kids can tell time. It sounds simple, but it worked.
