I teach first grade but have been teaching for 11 years. Where I live, this is the first year of a new "reform". We are now working in cycles instaed of grades. For instance, I taech CYCLE ONE children...children in either grade 1 or 2. We are now supposed to TEAM TEACH, use project based learning and meet competencies. We are all very confused and it seems as though I am still taeching the way I used too. Let me know if I can help. I would be happy to answer specific questions.
