naps
By jl

Clip to ScrapBook
It's hard to get everyone to nap at the same time, but it is necessary to create a quiet environment for all of your students. Would you consider allowing your nonsleepers to bring a book or small puzzle to their "rest area" with the stipulation that they must be quiet and not disturb the "sleepers." Or perhaps, if there is another kindergarten, could you and the other teacher(s) alternate a "nap" room and a quiet play room (puzzles, books, coloring)? This way the nappers get their much needed rest, and the others can do something calming and quiet without disturbing the others.
