Clip to ScrapBook
Teachers arrive at 7:30, which is when the first student bell rings to admit students. School officially begins at 7:45 and ends at 2:15. Teachers work until 3:30, but we usually leave at 3:00 on Fridays. There are no
recesses built into the schedule - It's at the teacher's discretion. All teachers eat lunch with their students, so there is no teacher lunch break.

We have one or two, 45 minutes special classes for students each day. Three days a week, teachers attend meetings during the time that the students are not in the classroom. We have a grade level planning/staff development meeting, a

team meeting (K-1, 2-3 & 4-5 meet together) and a committee meeting each week. There are full faculty meetings about every other week. The faculty meetings are always completed before 3:30.
The teaching assistants take care of the before school and after school duties. There are usually two professional development days per year.

Teachers are expected to attend every PTA meeting. Meetings are usually held every other month, from about 6:30 - 7:30 PM.
