Teachers have to arrive by 8:05. The children come in starting at 8:45. First Grade goes to lunch at 10:55-11:55. Then at 1:30-2:10 they have a special (Gym, Art, Music, Library. The day ends at 3:00 and teachers can leave at 3:05. The first Monday of the month is a mandatory Faculty meeting and then the 3rd Monday are Department Meetings (Science Committees, Math Committees, etc). They run for about an hour. Needless to say, many teachers stay MUCH later than 3:05!! We have 2 staff development days, one in November and one in March. They are usually for curriculum or staff development. -Becky
