HI!
Our principal is new but it was the same before. In 15 years of teaching,I got the same grade 2 years in a row..only once!
In the last 4 years I moved from ESL teacher( preK and K) to 5th grade to 1st to 1/2 combined.Every time the reason is "you're the most qualified to do this!".
I'm tired of this and just plain too tired. My own kids complain that I don't play with them any longer, my husband complains that all I do is work...
Sometimes I threaten to quit all the extra 'fancy' work and just turn page after page in the students books ...but I know I can't do it. I also teach 2 after school | |
activities and am in charge of the school afternoon activities .And next year we'll have a combined 2/3 grade. If they give it to me, I'll quit everything else...Luckily my students are wonderful - even the 3 ADHD kids are sweet little guys.
It really feels good to be able to vent...I should do it more often!
