principal aggravations By Kim

Jennifer, I was so glad to hear someone going what I went through. I am sorry to hear you are having a tough time but you will get through it! My second yr I had a principal just like yours, very bad evaluations and I| had never gotten bad ones. The class was thrown together 2 weeks after school started and I do mean thrown together. Parents and kids were in a tizzy. I had less than 2 days to get ready and luckily it was kindergarten ( a grade I had taught). The kids were wild and had never been told no. I had a time with several being ADHD. The worst part was everyone knew but acted like they did | | not care. One child hit me and the pricipal did nothing! To say the least I was not enjoying my class like usual. I also found out I was pregnant right after I took the job. Maybe he held a grudge against me ??? All I know was I hated it. When I took my maternity leave, the principal finally stepped in and removed the worst kid (the violent one) and put him in another class. I wanted to scream into his office and say what the **** took you so long or did you just not want to help me. I wish I could give you some great advice to get you through but all I can say is hang in and be tough to the little buggers and you will make it. and don't forget to document, document, document!GOOD LUCK!!!
