principal aggravations

Jennifer, I was so glad to hear someone going what I went through. I am sorry to hear you are having a tough time but you will get through it!
My second yr I had a principal just like yours, very bad evaluations and I
had never gotten bad ones. The class was thrown together 2 weeks after school started and I do mean thrown together. Parents and kids were in a tizzy. I had less than 2 days to get ready and luckily it was kindergarten ( a grade I had taught). The kids were wild and had never been told no. I had a time with several being ADHD. The worst part was everyone knew but acted like they did

not care. One child hit me and the pricipal did nothing! To say the least I was not enjoying my class like usual. I also found out I was pregnant right after I took the job. Maybe he held a grudge against me ??? All I know was I hated it. When I took my maternity leave, the principal finally stepped in and removed the worst kid (the violent one) and put him in another class. I wanted to scream into his office and say what the **** took you so long or did you just not want to help me.
I wish I could give you some great advice to get you through but all I can say is hang in and be tough to the little buggers and you will make it. and don't forget to document,document, document!
