Election Day

I did not have the entire week off. Just Thursday and Friday for Teachers Convention. Some systmes got the week off since they had inservice Monday, election Day of Tuesday and then they did not want to open the schools just for Wednesday! As for me our half days are the worst! We get out at 1 pm and get no lunch so you actually don't have a half day. The kids complain that we are starving them, even though they get bagles and a snack at their usual lunch time! A lot of systems around here get half days for all their conference days too...wish that was us. LOL Gee am I a little jealous?? Thanksgiving isn't too far off so we can make it! And if we can't we can always come here to VENT! Lori
