When doing an interim in 2nd grade, the regular teacher I was working for used the following consequences:
1. First offense = warning = 5 min. off play time
2. Second offense = nose in corner, 5 min.
off play time
3. Third offense = all of the above has already
been done, so child's seat is moved, letter
home to parents
4. Fourth and final offense = prinicpal's office
most likely parents will be called
These are for one day. Every day students start with a clean slate.
By the way, don't forget about the rewards for those who do not break the rules.
